BANFF, Alta. – Larry King will have to wait a little bit longer to receive his lifetime achievement award from the Banff World Media Festival.
The TV icon was scheduled to appear at the festival Tuesday but is no longer able to travel to the event due to “unforeseen circumstances”.
There was no further explanation.
Previous winners have included William Shatner and Ed Asner.
The festival says King will be presented with his award at a later event.
King hosted the nightly interview TV program Larry King Live on CNN from 1985 to 2010.
