North Okanagan RCMP ask for help to find missing woman

VERNON – RCMP are asking for the public’s help to locate a missing Ashton Creek woman.

Friends and family of Lisa Ruigrok, 52, say it is out of character for her to be out of contact, according to an RCMP media release.

RCMP say since her disappearance, police have followed up on several leads and possible signings.

Police don’t say when Ruigrok went missing.

RCMP describe Ruigrok as a Caucasian woman, 5’5” tall with brown hair and brown eyes. She is associated to a burgundy coloured Pontiac Montana mini-van with B.C. license plate EN0 72L.

Anyone who has seen the missing woman or may know of her whereabouts, are urged to contact their local police, remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or leaving a tip online at www.nokscrimestoppers.com.
