WHITE ROCK, B.C. – Mounties in Coquitlam, B.C., are conducting an independent investigation into why an RCMP officer in White Rock shot at a suspect vehicle with three people inside.
Sgt. Peter Thiessen says plainclothes officers were conducting a drug investigation into what’s believed to be a so-called crack shack.
He says that during the investigation, an officer shot at the vehicle as it left the area.
Thiessen says were no injuries to the three occupants, who were subsequently arrested.
