Sentencing next month in bizarre teenage sleepover gone wrong
KAMLOOPS – A Chase man will be sentenced next month for bizarre and troubling events at a teenage slumber party.
Shawn David Henry was found guilty of assault with a weapon, criminal harassment and possession of a weapon for dangerous purposes after his daughter had a friend over to their home for a sleepover back in 2011.
The friendly get-together turned every parent's worst nightmare after Henry was accused of threatening the 14-year-old girls and telling them horrific stories about getting raped, kidnapped and murdered.
He also called them names and told them stories about 'roof stalkers.'
He was found guilty in April and the court demanded a psychological and psychiatric testing prior to sentencing. Sentencing will take place in Kamloops on Nov. 12 along with assesment results.
