R. KELLY’S CHILD SUPPORT CASE SEALED

CHICAGO (AP) — R. Kelly’s lawyer says “you don’t need to be a rocket scientist” to figure out why Kelly is behind on child support. Attorney Steve Greenberg says Kelly is having financial problems because he can’t tour and his revenue from streaming has been cut. Kelly was in a Chicago court yesterday regarding his child support payments. His publicist, Darryll Johnson, says Kelly wants his payments lowered, but the judge’s decision has been sealed, so details were not made public. Kelly was jailed for failing to pay more than $160,000 in back child support until an anonymous donor paid the money. Johnson says Kelly’s friends and family paid the bill. Kelly has also pleaded not guilty to 10 counts of criminal sexual abuse.

R. KELLY – VIDEOTAPES

CHICAGO (AP) — An acquaintance of R. Kelly’s recalled how the singer once lugged a duffel bag everywhere — to recording studios, film sets and gyms. Stuffed inside, she said, was a collection of his homemade VHS sex tapes. Despite Kelly’s efforts in the 1990s to hold those recordings close, some leaked out. Untold numbers were copied and recopied and distributed nationwide through flea markets and street vendors. They have circulated for years and are still available on websites. A Pennsylvania man said he recently discovered one while cleaning his home.

The festival is set for June 29 in West Valley City, Utah. Reynolds, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, founded the festival to provide a safe place for LGBTQ people.
