Temporary parking closure at Mission Creek Regional Park
On Friday morning, Nov. 7, the parking lot near the Mindy Tran memorial in Mission Creek Regional Park will be closed.
Crews will be removing some large steel support framing that was used to hold a log entrance structure between the parking lot and the nearby Greenway trail.
Other areas of the park will still be open and accessible.
It’s anticipated the work should be complete and the parking lot off Springfield Road at Ziprick Road will be open by the noon hour.
Please obey any signage, barricades and flag people directing vehicles and visitors around closed areas.
The Regional District thanks park patrons for their patience and understanding.
