Cops: Man backs over wife with car in driveway, killing her

QUINCY, Mass. – Police say a Massachusetts man backed over his wife with a car in their driveway, killing her.

Authorities in Quincy say the accident was reported shortly before 2:30 p.m. Friday.

Police say the woman died from her injuries, and her husband was taken to a hospital because he was distraught.

Their names have not been released. Officials say the couple is in their 50s.

Police say it is under investigation and an accident reconstruction team is examining the site.
