OTTAWA – The Ottawa Redblacks announced the signings of five new players to their roster Tuesday, including 2021 draft pick Connor Berglof.
The offensive lineman, an all-Canadian in 2019, was originally selected 24th overall by the Redblacks in the 2021 CFL Draft.
That followed a seven-year U Sports career at the University of Saskatchewan that culminated in a Vanier Cup final berth in 2021, when the Huskies lost to Western.
Of the five new additions, three are American receivers Siaosi Mariner, Seantavius Jones and Ventell Bryant. Running back Sirgeo Hoffman was added as well.
Mariner, Jones and Bryant have all had brief stints on NFL teams in tryout capacities.
