WILD WEDNESDAY: Wolf puppies enjoy a snack from mom

A new video is showing a different side to wolves in the forests of the Interior.

Wildsafe B.C. posted the video on its Facebook page showing seven wolf puppies being fed by their mother.

Trail cameras in the Douglas fir forests of the Interior captured the moment the offspring suckled on the mother, and Wildsafe guestimates the pups are approximately 30 days old.

They've been told that 30 days in when their ears to start straightening up, as opposed to the floppy ears of the newborn pups.

Wolves inhabit much of B.C. and are considered an apex predator, the post states. They rarely attack humans but they can prove a hazard to dogs and livestock.
