Quebec Finance Minister Nicolas Marceau to present budget on Feb. 20: sources
QUEBEC – Quebec Finance Minister Nicolas Marceau will present his second budget next Thursday.
Sources tell the The Canadian Press the official announcement will be made later today.
The last Parti Quebecois budget came in November 2012.
The timing of the coming budget is heightening speculation an election call could follow within days or weeks.
Some possible scenarios would see an election being held in late March or in the first few weeks of April.
The PQ was elected with a minority government in 2012.
