Police say “Good Samaritans” may have tried to stop robbery suspect in B.C.

VICTORIA – Police in Victoria, B.C., say they want to speak to two “Good Samaritans” who may have tried to stop a robbery suspect in the city’s downtown.

The incident occurred early Friday evening, and police say one of the men may have even gotten into a physical confrontation with the suspect.

The men and other witnesses are being asked to come forward so police can speak to them.

The suspect is described as native, standing five feet 10 inches tall and wearing a red jacket with a black and white stripe, a dark-coloured hoodie, as well as a dark backpack, blue jeans and white sneakers.

Police say witnesses also reported that the suspect had acne scarring on his face.
