Penticton firefighters called to blaze at Cannery Trade Centre
PENTICTON – The Penticton Fire Department was called to a three alarm fire at the Cannery Trade Centre this morning.
Fire Chief Larry Watkinson said in a press release issued early this morning, June 25, firefighters responded to alarms at the centre around 1 a.m.
The building's sprinkler system had been activated upon the fire department's arrival.
Smoke found upon entering the building was traced to a second floor residence where firefighters were able to contain the blaze to the area of origin.
Watkinson says there were no injuries in the fire, which is under investigation this morning.
