Vernon RCMP looking for owner of cash found at dog park

VERNON – If you lost some cash while you were at Coldstream dog park, the RCMP are looking for you.

Police say a quantity of cash was found at the dog park on Kalamalka Lake Road in Coldstream on Sunday, June 25. The people who found it turned it in to the Vernon RCMP detachment.

“The amount of cash and denominations are being withheld in an effort to return the money to the rightful owner,” Const. Kelly Brett says in a media release.

If you think the money is yours, stop by the Vernon detachment and identify the cash.

If you know anyone who may have lost some cash in the dog park, you're asked to contact the detachment at 250-545-7171.
