Suspended senator Patrick Brazeau lands new gig at Ottawa strip joint

OTTAWA – Patrick Brazeau has gone from the upper chamber to helping run a strip club.

The suspended senator, who faces criminal charges over the Senate expense scandal, is now working at an Ottawa strip joint.

Brazeau was spotted inside the Barefax Gentlemen’s Club on Tuesday, but he declined to speak to reporters camped outside the establishment.

A man who answered the phone at the Barefax earlier in the day confirmed Brazeau now works there.

A second man who identified himself as the brother of one of the owners says he wants to speak to Brazeau before making any comment.

Earlier this month, the RCMP charged Brazeau and former senator Mac Harb with one count each of fraud and breach of trust in relation to their travel and living expense claims.
