Vernon Vipers salute troops and host Silverbacks

VERNON – The Vernon Vipers are proud to announce the debut of their special Salute To The Troops jerseys that will be worn Saturday night in their matchup with the Salmon Arm Silverbacks.

Fans will be able to bid by silent auction on these jerseys for the month of November.

The funds raised will go to the Veterans Transition Program treating serving and ex serving veterans with PTSD.

Post traumatic stress disorder is a mental illness. It involves exposure to trauma involving death or the threat of death or serious injury. For more information about PTSD visit www.cmha.ca.
