Justin Trudeau says his Liberals can bring Quebecers into government
QUEBEC – Justin Trudeau has a message for Quebecers — his Liberals are the only party capable of seriously offering them a place at the heart of government.
The federal Liberal leader is in Quebec City today for a caucus meeting ahead of a party meeting in Montreal this weekend.
Trudeau says he hopes the gathering will help persaude voters to come to the Liberals, who now hold eight of the 75 seats in Quebec.
He says he wants to orient the policy of the party to the benefit of the middle class but he did not give any specifics.
Trudeau indicated he won’t be revealing the details of the Liberal plan until the next election, which will be held in 2015.
