
Heavy rain prompts field closures in Kamloops
KAMLOOPS – Baseball fans take note.
Due to last night's excessive rainfall, the City of Kamloops has opted to close all sports fields at McArthur Island today, July 2. All remaining games for the Canada Day Classic Baseball Tournament have been cancelled.
The Tournament Capital Ranch remains open for slo-pitch games.
Staff will reassess the field conditions tomorrow, July 3.
