PENTICTON – A man remains in hospital following a lone motorcycle crash that happened on Eastside Road yesterday.
The 60-year-old from Keremeos riding his 1985 Yamaha had just finished passing another vehicle when he lost control near Sunny Bay Road at about 5:30. When he hit the ditch the motorcycle flipped and the man was thrown from the motorcycle onto the roadway.
Though the man's injuries are considered serious, RCMP say they're not likely life-threatening. The driver was taken to Penticton Regional Hospital where he remains.
