KAMLOOPS – Another collision on Westsyde Road in Kamloops has sent one to hospital.
Today, July 7, the road was blocked down to one lane for nearly two hours after a motorcycle and a motor vehicle crashed where Westsyde Road and Westmount Drive intersect.
The driver of the motorcycle is in hospital with serious injuries.
The road was down to single-lane traffic from approximately 1:45 p.m. till around 3:30 p.m.
Here are some photos of the aftermath, and a second accident that happened around the same area. Police are not commenting on the circumstances of the second accident at this time.
Westsyde Road is no stranger to collisions. Corp. Steve Davidson advised witnesses to look both ways, even after the light turns green, before pulling into an intersection.
