‘Game of Thrones” season 1 to air on CTV in August
TORONTO – Winter is coming to CTV.
The network says it will start broadcasting a “Game of Thrones” season 1 marathon on Aug. 8 at 10 p.m. in all markets.
One episode will air each weeknight, ending with the season finale on Aug. 19.
The 10 episodes will air unedited and with reduced commercial time.
The episodes will also be available on the CTV GO app.
CTV says it’s the first time the epic HBO fantasy series will air on network television in North America.
CTV says it “will ensure the program airs with the appropriate viewer disclaimers and AGVOT rating throughout each episode.”
