Al Michaels to host NBC daytime coverage during Rio Olympics

STAMFORD, Conn. – Al Michaels will host NBC’s daytime coverage during the Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

Michaels is working his fourth straight Olympics for NBC, all with similar roles. The daytime coverage will originate from Copacabana Beach.

The network also announced Wednesday that Dan Patrick and Rebecca Lowe will serves as hosts for coverage on NBC and NBCSN.

This is Patrick’s fourth Olympics for NBC and third in a host role. It’s the second time for Lowe.

Liam McHugh and Carolyn Manno will also host coverage on NBCSN.

Bob Costas is again hosting the prime-time broadcast and Ryan Seacrest handles the late-night show.
