iNFOnews.ca houseboat cruise winner excited to get back on Shuswap Lake

When Ryan Nolin saw he had won the iNFOnews.ca contest for a houseboat cruise on the Shuswap, he was sure it couldn't be real.

"I actually thought it was a joke or a scam," Nolin says.

Nolin won a three or four-night houseboat cruise with Twin Anchors Houseboat Vacations on Shuswap Lake, waters he usually visits at least a few times a year. This won't be his first time on a houseboat, he says, and can't wait to get back on one.

"It was the best time of my life," he says. "Just getting out there, it’s such a blast."

Nolin thinks he'll bring mostly friends along with him to enjoy the Cruise Craft 2, which can sleep 15 people, complete with a wet bar, bimini top, sun deck, slide and more.

During the mid-season, a four-night stay on the houseboat would usually cost more than $3,000.
