Highway 97 reopens between Summerland and Peachland
PEACHLAND – Highway 97 has reopened between Summerland and Peachland this morning.
The very busy highway had been open to single lane, alternating traffic with an RCMP escort for the past two days due to the dangers posed by the smoke from the nearby Mount Eneas wildfire. The restrictions created up to two hour delays on the route.
Drive B.C. says Highway 97 between Peachland and Summerland is now fully open.
