
Penticton RCMP seek suspect in street robbery
PENTICTON – Penticton RCMP are seeking a suspect in a reported robbery that occurred last week.
Cst. James Grandy said in a press release issued today, July 23, RCMP officers were dispatched to a call regarding a robbery near the 24/7 convenience store at 702 Main St. in Penticton.
The victim reported being assaulted and his wallet and cell phone stolen near Gyro Park after the man left a nearby pub on July 20, around 2 a.m.
The man described the suspect as a native male, approximately 25 to 30 years old, with long hair past his shoulders.
Penticton RCMP are asking anyone who might have witnessed the incident to contact them at: 250-492-4300.
