SNC-Lavalin’s Q4 profit, revenue fall as some segments face tough conditions

MONTREAL – SNC-Lavalin Group Inc. (TSX:SNC) reports its fourth quarter profit and revenue were down as several major segments faced tough conditions.

SNC’s overall revenue for the three-month period fell to $2.12 billion in the fourth quarter, down $300 million from $2.42 billion a year earlier.

The Montreal-based company (TSX:SNC) says its net income fell to $92.54 million, from $93.84 million in the fourth quarter of 2012.

Net income per share fell to 61 cents per share, down from 62 cents a year earlier and a penny below analyst estimates.
