LEWISTOWN, Ill. – Bees and their work habits will be the topic of the Tot Time program next month at Illinois State Museum-Dickson Mounds .
Max Johnson will present “Buzz Buzz Bees” July 5. The Lewistown resident and 4-H member will highlight different types of bees in a hive, their job responsibilities and how they make honey.
Registration is not required for this free program. It begins at 9:30 a.m. and is one-half hour long. It’s followed by crafts, provided snacks and time to explore the museum. There will be crafts to take home.
