A popular Kamloops bar known for wings, bowling and live music to close this October

KAMLOOPS – It's the end of an era for a well-known sports bar and grill in the city's North Shore.

The Dirty Jersey located on 8 Street will close their doors this upcoming October. According to the bar's Facebook page, the bar opened in November 2006 and was a popular spot for live music and sports events.

The bar's owner Lance Lestander confirmed today, July 26, the bar would be shutting their doors.

Kammerce Promotions, a live music, and entertainment booking agency turned to Facebook to thank the restaurant for nearly a decade of booking shows at the North Shore bar.

"Thank you to The Dirty Jersey (Lance) and staff… for eight and half years of booking shows there," the post says.

To keep up with the upcoming events the bar will be hosting over the next few months, check out their Facebook page.
