
Fatal motorcycle collision near Osoyoos
PENTICTON – A Chilliwack man is dead following a fatal motorcycle collision east of Osoyoos.
RCMP spokesperson Cpl. James Grandy said in a press release issued late Thursday afternoon, July 26, Osoyoos RCMP and Anarchist Mountain Fire Department attended a fatal motorcycle collision on Highway 3 approximately six kilometres east of Osoyoos around 10:20 a.m. this morning, July 26.
A 73 year old man from Chilliwack failed to make a sharp curve on the highway and went over an embankment.
The man was found by family members after he failed to return from his ride to vacation accommodations he was staying in nearby.
The B.C. Coroners office is now looking into the incident. The Osoyoos RCMP extend their sympathy to the man’s family and friends.
