Kelowna election polls open all week

Kelowna residents have a chance to cast their vote for Mayor, City Councillors and School Trustees on one of four voting days this week.

Advance voting takes place Wednesday to Friday. Election Day is Saturday, Nov. 15.

Thursday, Nov. 13
City Hall,
Okanagan College in the Centre for Learning Atrium

Friday, Nov. 14

Parkinson Recreation Centre

The City Hall voting location features a voter assist terminal which provides voters who may have difficulty marking a ballot the ability to do so privately and independently.

Residents of Kelowna for at least 30 days, who are 18 years or older, have lived in BC for at least six months and are Canadian citizens are eligible to vote. Voters need to bring two pieces of ID, at least one with a signature, to the polling station to prove residency and identity. A reminder to non-resident property electors to check the additional requirements to register to vote, most notably, a signed consent form from a majority of registered owners if the property is jointly owned.  

On Election Day, Saturday, November 15, residents will have 13 voting locations to choose from, 12 open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Orchard Park Shopping Centre open from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m:
