Travelling through downtown Kamloops this weekend? Don’t forget about this road closure

KAMLOOPS – With the arrival of the weekend, there are a few things to check out in downtown Kamloops.

If you're planning on driving through downtown, a reminder to motorists that there will be no vehicle traffic in certain areas due to the city launching a Pedestrian Plaza trial on 4 Avenue.

Starting this past Wednesday, July 25 to August 13, 4 Avenue will be closed to traffic from the alley between Victoria Street and Landsdowne Street to the alley between Victoria Street and Seymour Street.

Victoria Street will remain open for traffic east to west.

Don't forget to check out the city's first International Buskers Festival. The four-day event started yesterday, July 26, and will finish off on Sunday, July 29. The main performers are set up at Riverside Park with some local performers stationed around downtown.
