Reports say several people injured as stage collapses at Anaheim high school

ANAHEIM, Calif. – A stage has collapsed at a high school in Anaheim and reports say more than two dozen people have been injured.

Anaheim police spokesman officer Chris Petropulos says authorities responded about 11 p.m. PST Saturday to a report of a stage collapsing at Servite High School.

He says details are still coming in to the station from police at the scene and he doesn’t have any information about any injuries.

However, KABC quotes authorities as saying that 25 people have been transported to hospitals with moderate injuries.

Police Lt. Tim Schmidt tells the station that those injuries include broken bones, bruises and scrapes.

The Los Angeles Time reports that 250 students were on the stage at the time.
