Vancouver police investigate the targeted shooting of Burnaby man

VANCOUVER – Vancouver police are investigating after a 33-year-old Burnaby man with a bullet wound stumbled into a restaurant.

Officers say the victim was sitting in a car Saturday evening when a man approached and shot the vehicle several times.

The victim went to a nearby restaurant for help.

He was taken to hospital where he underwent surgery and was released.

Police say it was a targeted shooting.

No arrests have been made, and police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
