Canadian international Brock Staller named Major League Rugby player of the week
TORONTO – Canadian international winger Brock Staller has won player of the week honours in Major League Rugby.
The 26-year-old from Vancouver scored two tries and collected 18 points to help the defending champion Seattle Seawolves defeat Rugby United New York 33-21.
The San Diego Legion won team of the week honours after beating Austin Elite Rugby 45-17.
Staller joined Toronto Arrows prop Rob Brouwer, fly half Sam Malcom and centre Dan Moor in the MLR First XV of the week.
