Sarah McLachlan announces all-star park concert lineup to support music school

VANCOUVER – Singer Sarah McLachlan is back at promoting another concert lineup of stars, this time to support her music school.

McLachlan announced she will join Stevie Nicks, Jann Arden and Hedley, among others, for the concert in Stanley Park.

McLachlan says former U.S. president and long-time friend Bill Clinton will also make an appearance.

The Sept. 15 concert is in support of the Sarah McLachlan School of Music, which is a free music program offered to at-risk students between Grades 4 and 12.

The program includes group and private lessons by professional musicians.

Tickets for the concert, dubbed Voices in the Park, will go on sale Friday starting at $85.
