Family members find body of missing N. Carolina teacher

KERNERSVILLE, N.C. – Sheriff’s deputies say the family members of a North Carolina man who disappeared days before he was to begin his first year as a teacher found his body in a lake.

The Winston-Salem Journal reports (http://bit.ly/2bYrXng) about 50 family and friends had come to Kernersville Park in Forsyth County to help search for 23-year-old Krishawn Noble.

Maj. Danny Carter with the sheriff’s office said family members rented paddle boats and found Noble’s body in Kernersville Lake on Friday. Deputy Brad Stanley said one family member went into labour and two passed out as a result of finding the body.

Noble was hired to teach at East Forsyth Middle School for the 2016-17 year after serving there last year as a student teacher.

Authorities haven’t determined a cause of death.
