KAMLOOPS – The B.C. Coroners Service is investigating after a woman was found dead behind the Sandman Centre in downtown Kamloops.
Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jodi Shelkie says in a news release that a citizen reported seeing a woman on the ground at roughly 9:30 a.m. today, Aug. 9, just off the walking path between Riverside Park and Pioneer Park.
When officers attended, they found the woman was deceased, Shelkie says. The Kamloops woman was in her 60s, and her death is not considered suspicious, Shelkie says.
