Law enforcement: Mick Jagger’ girlfriend, L’Wren Scott, found dead in NYC of possible suicide

NEW YORK, N.Y. – A law enforcement official says L’Wren Scott, a celebrity stylist who is Mick Jagger’s girlfriend, has been found dead in Manhattan of a possible suicide.

The official spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because the victim’s next of kin had not yet been notified.

The official says Scott was found hanging from a doorknob by her assistant at 10 a.m. Monday. The official says no note was found and there was no sign of foul play.

A spokeswoman for Mick Jagger says the singer is “completely shocked and devastated by the news.”
