PENTICTON – The regional district wants to keep residents informed about the establishment of a regional bus service from Penticton to Kelowna.
Electoral approval of the service is being sought by the regional district board through the alternate approval process, and to provide members of the public with information, three public meetings have been set up next Wednesday and Thursday.
The first information session is scheduled for Wednesday, Aug. 15, from 8:30 a.m. to noon at the Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen office at 101 Martin Street in Penticton.
A second meeting will also take place Wednesday, Aug. 15 at the Village of Keremeos office, 702 – 4th Street in Keremeos from 2 to 4 p.m.
A third meeting will be held at the Osoyoos Town office, 8707 Main St. in Osoyoos on Thursday, Aug. 16 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
