Canada’s Jamie Lee Rattray named top player in NCAA women’s hockey

WALLINGFORD, Conn. – Jamie Lee Rattray of Kanata, Ont., has won the Patty Kazmaier Award that goes to the top player in NCAA Division 1 women’s hockey.

The senior at Clarkson University was second in NCAA scoring with 62 points in 39 games.

She leads her Clarkson Golden Knights into the women’s Frozen Four final against the University of Minnesota on Sunday.

Cornell forward Jillian Saulnier from Halifax and American Hannah Brandt of the University of Minnesota were the other two finalists for the award.

Rattray is a prospect for the Canadian women’s team.

She’s played on the national under-18 and under-22 squads.
