Most actively traded companies on the TSX, TSX Venture Exchange

TORONTO – Some of the most active companies traded Wednesday on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange:

Toronto Stock Exchange (14,184.10 down 115.39 points):

Orbite Aluminae Inc. (TSX:ORT). Miner. Down 11.5 cents, or 35.94 per cent, to 20.5 cents on 10.8 million shares.

B2Gold Corp. (TSX:BTO). Miner. Down 13 cents, or 4.29 per cent, to $2.90 on 10.1 million shares.

Capstone Mining Corp. (TSX:CS). Miner. Up 14 cents, or 5.13 per cent, to $2.87 on 8.7 million shares. The company says a new pre-feasibility study on its wholly owned Pinto Valley copper mine in Arizona has extended the mine’s life by eight years to 2026. The company, which bought Pinto Valley last year, says average annual production for the first five years is targeted at 128.4 million pounds of copper in concentrate and 6.6 million pounds of copper cathode.

Intrinsyc Software International, Inc. (TSX:ICS). Application software. Up six cents, or 57.14 per cent, to 11 cents on 7.4 million shares.

Kinross Gold Corp. (TSX:K). Miner. Down 31 cents, or 6.20 per cent, to $4.69 on 7.2 million shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Aerospace. Down nine cents, or 2.18 per cent, to $4.04 on 6.8 million shares.

Toronto Venture Exchange (1,003.25 down 15.01 of a point):

Kilo Goldmines Ltd. (TSX:KGL). Miner. Unchanged at two cents on 8.4 million shares.

True North Gems Inc. (TSX:TGX). Miner. Down one cent, or 11.76 per cent, to 7.5 cents on 5.6 million shares.

Companies reporting major news:

BlackBerry Ltd. (TSX:BB). Communication equipment. Down 29 cents, or 2.78 per cent, to $10.15 on 2.3 million shares. BlackBerry has received certification for U.S. government employees to use its Secure Work Space enterprise software on iPhones and devices that use the Android operating system. The technology is part of products that became available through the rollout of its BlackBerry 10 operating system.
