NANAIMO, B.C. – Mounties in Nanaimo, B.C., are asking for the public’s help looking for a missing 12-year-old girl.
Elissa Elizabeth Fawdry was last seen on Wednesday night near her grandmother’s home in Nanaimo.
RCMP say they’ve had no leads in finding the girl through family, friends and social media.
She’s a Grade 7 student in the Nanaimo-Ladysmith school district.
The girl is five-foot, nine-inches tall, weighs 120 pounds, is of First Nations descent, and was last seen wearing a red-and-black sweater, black jeans and white-and-black shoes.
Police say her disappearance is considered out of character and she has some medical issues that put her at risk.
