Slime time: Mark Wahlberg takes his turn with the green goo on Kids’ Choice Awards

It’s time to slime a few hapless guests on the Kids’ Choice Awards.

The 27th annual awards are back with some of today’s top stars scheduled to attend, including Pharrell Williams, Kevin Hart, Andy Samberg, Lea Michele and Chris Evans. And as usual, the focus will be more on what celeb takes a good-natured slime bath than who carries off an orange blimp-shaped trophy.

Mark Wahlberg hosts and Aloe Blacc and American Authors are scheduled to perform Saturday night during the live broadcast from Los Angeles that starts at 8 p.m. EDT on Nickelodeon.

Katy Perry is the top individual nominee with three, including favourite voice in an animated movie for the “The Smurfs 2.” ”The Hunger Games” franchise and “The Smurfs 2” have four nominations apiece.
