West Fraser Timber to buy Bibler Brothers lumber operation in Arkansas
VANCOUVER – West Fraser Timber Co. Ltd. (TSX:WFT) has struck a deal to buy the Bibler Brothers lumber sawmill and manufacturing operations in Arkansas, about 130 kilometres from another operation that the Vancouver-based company recently acquired in Mansfield, Ark. The two Arkansas acquisitions are part of West Fraser’s plans to expand in the U.S. South and Western Canada, where it has its base. Financial details of the Bibler deal haven’t been announced.
