Prince Rupert RCMP investigate deaths of woman, teenager, as isolated incident

PRINCE RUPERT, B.C. – A woman and a teenaged boy have been found dead in a home in Prince Rupert, B.C.

Const. Matt Ericson says RCMP in the North Coast city consider the deaths suspicious, but believe they are dealing with an isolated incident.

He says members of the North District Major Crime Unit are investigating and it’s too soon to speculate on what might have caused the deaths.

The bodies were found Thursday in a home in the 500 block of Eberts Street.

Names of the victims have not been released. (CFTK)
