Deputies arrest man near home of Selena Gomez hours after his release from jail

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Authorities say they have re-arrested a man who was ordered to stay away from the home of Selena Gomez.

Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said they arrested 20-year-old Che Cruz on Friday after he was spotted near the home in suburban Calabasas.

Cruz had been arrested on March 30 on suspicion of trespassing at the home. On Wednesday, he acknowledged trespassing at the home and was sentenced to 45 days in jail and probation.

Jail records show his arrest on Friday came eight hours after Cruz was released from jail after serving seven days in the trespassing case.

Jail records did not indicate whether Cruz had an attorney. He was being held on $20,000 bail.
