Trucker arrested with missing youth

KAMLOOPS – Police have found a missing 15-year-old in the sleeper of a commercial tractor trailer and arrested the driver after reports the youth was being sexually assaulted.

Kamloops RCMP were on the lookout for the truck after it was reported around 11 p.m. yesterday that the truck was headed east on Highway 5 to Alberta. It was located at the weigh scales in Kamloops and the youth was found inside, according to Cpl. Wayne Chung. He said it was unclear how the youth ended up in the truck. The investigation is ongoing. More information is unavailable.
