Summerland mayoral candidate to hold open house

SUMMERLAND – A Summerland mayoral candidate is holding an open house later this month.

Councillor Toni Boot, who declared her candidacy for the mayor’s chair in June, says she is looking forward to sharing her vision for Summerland.

“I have been talking to many people about what they love about our town”, Boot says in a media release, “and many have shared thoughts on how Summerland could be even better.”

Boot calls the public to join in the conversation at an open house at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 26 at the IOOF Hall, 9536 Main Street.

All are welcome to attend and refreshments will be served.
