Source: Saskatchewan Roughriders sign general manager Taman to extension

REGINA – The Saskatchewan Roughriders have rewarded GM Brendan Taman with a contract extension.

A source requesting anonymity said the CFL club has signed Taman to a multi-year contract extension and will make the official announcement at a news conference.

Taman has been the Riders’ general manager since 2010 and his current deal was set to expire following the 2015 campaign.

Last year, the Riders captured the Grey Cup, just the fourth in franchise history.

Saskatchewan signed head coach Corey Chamblin to an extension that will keep him in Regina through 2017.
