Buffalo Bills stadium group includes Niagara Falls option to secure team’s future

BUFFALO, N.Y. – Don’t rule out Niagara Falls, N.Y., as a potential home of the Buffalo Bills.

Members of a newly formed stadium task force tell The Associated Press they’re considering sites in Niagara County in determining the best options to secure the franchise’s long-term viability in the region.

Lt. Gov. Robert Duffy calls Niagara County a possibility. And Niagara Falls Mayor Paul Dyster says it’s important that all options are considered.

That goes beyond the group’s initial directive, which was to seek potential stadium sites in Erie County, where Buffalo is located.

Another topic discussed by the New Stadium Working Group is relocating the Bills’ headquarters to the University at Buffalo campus in Amherst, where a new practice facility would be built and shared with the school’s football team.
