Overland Park Fire Department spokesman: 3 shot, killed in suburban Kansas City

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. – Authorities say three people have been shot and killed in suburban Kansas City.

Overland Park Fire Department spokesman Jason Rhodes said Sunday afternoon that one person of interest is in custody.

Rhodes said the shootings happened at two different locations, but did not specify where the shootings happened.

There is a heavy police presence at the Jewish Community Center complex in Overland Park and the entrance is blocked off.
